NARRATIVE

These benches, table and chair were custom built as a range reflective of the designers Finnish origins. Here the simple and elegant lines inherent to Scandinavian design are juxtaposed with the addition of texture in attempt to communicate both Scandinavian purity and stillness as well as the rawness and melancholy of her native Finland.

MATERIALS

Timber, velccromat, miscellaneous carpet underlays. Set; hessian.
